BrentwoodMTB is powered by an incredible team of volunteer coaches — parents, cyclists, and community members who show up every week to develop young riders on and off the trail.
Our leadership team oversees team operations, rider development programs, and our GRiT initiative for girl riders in Tennessee.
Every one of our coaches gives their time to help student-athletes grow in skill, fitness, and character. No prior coaching experience is required to join this team — just a love of the sport and a commitment to kids.
BrentwoodMTB coaches are parents, riders, encouragers, organizers, mentors, and steady voices on the trail. Some ride with advanced groups. Some help newer riders build confidence. Some support practices, race weekends, logistics, GRiT, mechanical help, and team culture. What matters most is showing up for kids.
Help riders grow in skill, fitness, confidence, trail awareness, and character.
NICA provides training so coaches understand safety, risk management, athlete well-being, and youth protection.
Practices and race weekends are more than workouts. Coaches help build the family-centered culture that makes BrentwoodMTB special.
Ride with a group, sweep newer riders, help with skills stations, support GRiT, assist at races, or lend mechanical knowledge.
NICA has a helpful overview of what it means to coach, how training works, and how new coaches get started. If you are interested in coaching with BrentwoodMTB, reach out and we will help you understand the next steps, including Pit Zone registration, coach licensing, and required training.
Whether you are ready to coach, curious about volunteering, or just want to ask a few questions, we would love to hear from you.
